  3.      The situation of Africa today is complicated by the new 
  4. electronic technology. Western man is himself being de-
  5. Westernized by his own new speed-up, as much as the Africans 
  6. are being detribalized by our old print and industrial technology. 
  7. If we understood our own media old and new, these confusions 
  8. and disruptions could be programmed and synchronized. The 
  9. very success we enjoy in specializing and separating functions

  15. Nietzsche said understanding stops action, and men of action 
  16. seem to have an intuition of the fact in their shunning the
